iVe is available to law enforcement, military, civil and regulatory agencies, and select private industry organizations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Private industry organizations must briefly describe how they actively support law enforcement, military, civil or regulatory agencies for the sole purpose of conducting criminal investigations, collecting information for national security purposes, reconstructing vehicle collisions, investigating vehicle theft, and/or investigating insurance fraud.
