iVe Software v2.6.2
Release Date: June 2020
File Size: 758 MB
Notes for the iVe 2.6.2 release:
With this software release, we are proud to announce that iVe users now have the ability to export directly to Cellebrite Physical Analyzer. This new functionality allows for data acquired from vehicle systems to be imported into a case within Physical Analyzer and examined alongside other data sources.
Cellebrite Physical Analyzer enables the examination of multiple data sources from the broadest range of digital devices, mobile applications, and cloud data. Integration efforts such as this further expand options for customers to be able to include vehicle data as part of fused multi-source analysis.
Notes for the iVe v2.6 release:
Berla is pleased to announce the release of iVe version 2.6.
This release adds support for additional Toyota vehicles, the majority of which fall between 2014-2015. However, many more supported Toyota vehicles between 2014-2017 are expected to be added to the vehicle lookup as they are confirmed.
The identification guide for Toyota Internal SD systems, accessible in iVe Software and iVe Mobile, serves as a helpful starting point in making a positive identification. That said, users who have a potentially supported Toyota system are urged to reach out to Berla Support. In that way we can assist with the identification process and, when applicable, add more supported Toyotas to our lookup based on your feedback.
Additional Features
Beginning with iVe version 2.6, users now have the ability to update their account information, and most importantly, this includes the option of changing one’s user ID/email address. This has long been a highly requested feature, and we are glad to announce its inclusion in the latest software version.
Parsing improvements have been made for Ford SYNC generation 3 and Hyundai-MIPS-Mobis systems. For users who have an active case with one of these ECUs, it may be worthwhile reparsing with iVe 2.6 in the potentiality that additional data can be parsed.
It should be noted that iVe’s UI now reflects timestamps differently if a user has applied an offset. When viewing such items in the ‘Content’ section, the timestamp type now reflects the value ‘Adjusted(offset name).’ Also, the timestamp confidence column will be blank due to an offset being in effect.
As per usual, several minor bug fixes round out the release.

iVe Software v2.6.1
Release Date: April 2020
File Size: 729 MB
Notes for this release:
iVe Software v2.6.1, features several performance improvements and minor bug fixes.
This .zip file contains all of the prerequisites, drivers and main application, and requires a valid, up-to-date license to decrypt the download file.

iVe Software v2.5
Release Date: October 2019
File Size: 809 MB
Notes for this Release:
Berla is pleased to announce the release of iVe version 2.5.
This release adds support for newer Ford vehicles manufactured from 2018 to 2020, as well as a considerable number of FCA vehicles across multiple brands – Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, and Maserati – manufactured between 2012 and 2019.
The most significant feature in this version is the ability to connect with other members of the iVe community. Whether you are using iVe Mobile or iVe Software, connections gives you the ability to establish a network of colleagues, customers, and contacts involved in vehicle investigations.
You can now share resources, vehicle lookups and collections summaries with anyone in your network. Resources such as system identification guides, removal walkthroughs and setup instructions can easily be shared with members of your network to help in the identification and acquisition process.
Additional Features
The case report has been completely redesigned in iVe version 2.5. This facelift includes a restyled cover page followed by a table of contents with clickable links to various sections of data types. The case report layout now features better use of overall space, and columns are hidden if they contain only blank cells. The ‘Additional Information’ section, for items that include such data, is now visually separated from the other fields. Also, each page of the case report now includes a footer with the page number.
Perhaps most importantly, the case report generation process has been made faster and more stable in iVe version 2.5, particularly when it comes to extremely large data sets.
Every system supported by iVe now has a summary. In it you will find information on acquisition times, acquisition types, and any key points or idiosyncrasies you might need to know.
In addition to several minor bug fixes and user interface improvements, you will notice updates have been made in data parsers for many the supported systems.
This .zip file contains all of the prerequisites, drivers and main application, and requires a valid, up-to-date license to decrypt the download file.

iVe Software v2.4.1
Release Date: August 2019
File Size: 748 MB
Notes for this Release:
iVe Software v2.4.1, ushers in a new partnership with BlackBag Technologies. As a result of the partnership, iVe users now have the ability to export a file to a proprietary format that can be opened in BlackLight, BlackBag’s flagship forensic tool for analyzing Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS devices.
iVe Software v2.4.1 also includes a handful of improvements and bug fixes. Some fixes are OEM-specific, such as showing all timestamp confidence levels for Nissan 08IT systems or showing source files for the BMW NBT web history. Other changes affect vehicle cases across the board, such as the improved performance during the initial loading of content, and the way tags are displayed when switching between tag groups.
iVe Version 2.4 added support for many Honda and Acura vehicles made between 2013 and 2017 that feature hard drive navigation systems.
In addition, iVe 2.4 includes support for GM systems that have no model number on the label but which are effectively a variant of the GA-130. These systems, which are found in certain 2015-2017 vehicles, may now be acquired by selecting the GA-130 ECU in iVe. For further specifics on these systems, see the “Label” step in the identification guide for the GA-130.
This release also brings a few key changes to iVe’s user interface that are improvements from both a practical and aesthetic standpoint
Notifications in iVe now mirror those in iVe Mobile, and as such may include items such as release news, iVe tips and tricks, and upcoming Live Community Hangout dates. The notification center will continue to include messages that an acquisition has completed, and that search indexing has finished, and these will still be synced between iVe and iVe Mobile.
When logged in, clicking the user name in the upper right now brings up a dedicated pane with account information and license-specific hardware inventories for each iVe license assigned to the user.
As always, several minor bug fixes and user interface improvements round out the release.
This .zip file contains all of the prerequisites, drivers and main application, and requires a valid, up-to-date license to decrypt the download file.

Notes for this Release:
Berla is pleased to announce the release of iVe version 2.4.
This release adds support for many Honda and Acura vehicles made between 2013 and 2017 that feature hard drive navigation systems. Honda has long been one of the most requested OEMs for which to add support, and with iVe 2.4 we are glad to be able to comply with those customer requests.
In addition, iVe 2.4 includes support for GM systems that have no model number on the label but which are effectively a variant of the GA-130. iVe Software v2.3.1
Release Date: April 2019
File Size: 692 MB
Notes for the 2.3 Release:
Release Date: March 2019
Berla is pleased to announce the release of iVe version 2.3
This release adds support for a considerable number of Lexus vehicles manufactured between 2010 and 2016, Peugeot and Citroën manufactured between 2008 and 2018 as well as Lamborghini vehicles manufactured between 2012 and 2015.
As for new software features, one of the main highlights for version 2.3 is the ability to add and adjust time offsets for items across the entire application. Whereas users could previously only adjust time offsets within the ‘Timeline’ section, offsets can now be adjusted in the ‘Content’ section grid. Any offsets that are applied will be clearly reflected in other sections of iVe as well as in exported reports (i.e., case reports and tag reports).
Another noteworthy additions to iVe version 2.3 is the ability to install map packs for offline mapping. Map packs will be made available by request to iVe users, and the packs can then be installed. Users are able to set the location of the map file cache, such as an attached USB drive. The option for using offline maps, another feature that has long been a frequent customer request, is designed to help in situations where analysis must be conducted offline completely, or when Wi-Fi connectivity may be unreliable.
As always, several minor bug fixes and user interface improvements round out the release.

iVe Software v2.2
Release Date: January 2019
File Size: 655 MB
Notes for this Release:
This release features significant expansion of iVe’s Mercedes-Benz coverage, adding support for many Mercedes-Benz vehicles manufactured between 2014 and 2018.
Version 2.2 also brings additional improvements to mapping. For one thing, the map source drop-down now offers Mapbox maps of several styles (i.e., Light, Dark, Normal, Satellite, and Satellite Hybrid). Users can still set up custom map tile servers, whether from OpenStreetMap or another source, by going to Tools > Mapping and saving the desired tile URL.
To go hand in hand with the new map styles, users now have the ability to customize the colors assigned to each data type. This can be particularly helpful in making data points easier to see on the map, depending on the type of map that is in effect. For instance, a lighter color may be ideal to use for data plotted on a dark map.
Any changes to color selection are saved automatically and will persist through restarts of the iVe application. It is also worth pointing out that the color selections are applied across the entire application, including the ‘Timeline’ section.
As always, several minor bug fixes and user interface improvements round out the release.
